Choosing your edition.
A guide to finding the right work and understanding exactly what comes with it.
Start with the work
Read the historical background, explore the details and consider how the work might live in your space. Our contemporary reflections are invitations to connect with the painting, not statements of the artist’s intentions.
Digital editions
A digital edition is a downloadable file, not a physical painting or frame. Read its file formats, pixel dimensions, included files and composition before purchasing. Use the enquiry form if a work has no purchasable edition.
Size and proportion
Choose a frame after checking the actual image ratio and recommended print sizes. A long handscroll will not fit a standard rectangle without cropping, borders or distortion. Room images illustrate styling; they are not a reliable measure of scale.
Payment and delivery
Available digital editions use PayPal checkout. Payment must be confirmed by the payment service before the order page unlocks the file. Returning from PayPal does not by itself confirm payment; use Check payment status in your order if needed. Enquiries do not create a purchase.
Physical reproductions
Contact us about a physical reproduction. It is not a historical original. Confirm paper, frame, dimensions, production time, shipping destination and the complete quote before agreeing to an order. Physical editions cannot be purchased through digital checkout.
Before you buy
Check the image version, crop, file contents, permitted use and payable total. The work page distinguishes a complete image from a selected passage. Contact us if anything is unclear.
